Activities

Field Visit (2010)

This valve house is at the end of the pipeline which leads from Loch Ericht dam (see separate record). This valve-house is functionally related to Rannoch powerhouse and adopts the same architectural treatment with a minimal classical style, which is relatively unusually for typology which is usually of predominantly functional design. P L Payne,1988; E Wood, 2002; J Miller, 2002.
