The technical site for the World War II airfield and the accommodation and other camps are situated along the N shore of Loch Etive. The technical site (NM93SW 53.01) lies at the SE end of the runways whilst the other installations were situated to the E along the minor road leading to Ardchtattan House.

Most of the buildings and huts have been removed, but some hut bases are still visible.

The camps and technical site are visible on a series of vertical air photographs taken in 1947 (CPE/Scot/UK 247, frames 4027-4030, flown 31 July 1947).
