NK 0002 6095, NK 0000 6093, NK 0000 6094 A new extension to graveyard at Rathen West Church was near the site of a possible medieval motte and adjacent to the old parish church of St Ethernan, a medieval or possibly earlier foundation. Three evaluation trenches were excavated, comprising c 7% of the site. No archaeological features were evident. Three sherds medieval pottery and two flint flakes were recovered from ploughsoil.
