NJ 9630 3569 On 27 October 1999, a watching brief was maintained at Arnage Castle, prior to the construction of a small semicircular addition to the south-east corner at the rear of the castle. The lowering of the ground level for the foundations of the extension was observed but no archaeological features were observed.
