A pillbox has been identified from wartime RAF vertical air photographs, (106G L/NLA 96, 3008-3010, flown 20 March 1945) at the junction of Trinity Quay and Market Street.

Nothing is visible of a pillbox that stood on the quayside of Aberdeen harbour, at the junction of Market Street and Trinity Quay. Which type of pillbox is not known, despite appearing on photographs taken on the ground and from the air.
