Archaeology Notes

NJ83NE 27 c. 89 36.

A stone hammer, 3 3/4" long, barrel-shaped, with convex ends and a central perforation, 3/4" in diameter, encircled by a raised moulding, was found at Schivas (NJ 89 36), and was exhibited to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland [NMAS] in April 1873 by J W Irvine.
