(Location cited as NJ 8438 1187). The feature previously identified as the Bishop's Cross is situated on a stony, SW-facing slope about 250m SSE of the erratic (noted in NJ81SW 24.00), lying within a small clearing in mature conifer woodland. It comprises a cross-shaped arrangement of drystone walls about 1m in thickness by 0.5m in height. One wall measures about 23m in length from NW to SE, the other 14.5m from NE to SW. It is probably no more than a sheep shelter.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS), 25 September 2001.
