Nothing is now visible of this ice-house. It is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire, 1870, sheet xlv) about 235m SW of Logie House (NJ72NW 5.00) in an area which has since been landscaped as the garden of a recently built house. The ice-house, which appears to have occupied a S-facing slope, may have been removed or filled in before the end of the 19th century, and it is not shown on the 2nd edition of the map (1901, sheet xlv.SW).
