A copious spring, said to have been a holy well, and resorted to by the sick.

Name Book 1866.

This covered well is surrounded by a stone wall and is well-preserved. The name, 'St Mary's Well' was confirmed by the farmer at nearby Auldtown. Resurveyed at 1/2500.
