Cobairdy House, c.1855/60?, A & W Reid. A late Georgian Italianate survival comparable with Knockleith in Auchterless (see 'Banff & Buchan' in this series), although larger and apparently somewhat earlier. Crisp two storeys harled with margins and a fine pedimented porch with broad-eaved gable.

Taken from "Aberdeenshire: Donside and Strathbogie - An Illustrated Architectural Guide", by Ian Shepherd, 2006. Published by the Rutland Press http://www.rias.org.uk
