(Name cited as North Greens and location as NJ 2160 7036). A pillbox of World War II date stands just outside the N perimeter fence of Lossiemouth airfield (NJ26NW 50). It is situated on a small rise and is surrounded by gorse and whin bushes.

This type 27 (anti-aircraft) pillbox is visible on RAF wartime air photographs (NLA 57, 5055-6, flown 21 February 1943).

The brick and concrete pillbox has been heavily vandalised with several areas of the brickwork being removed. The central gunpit shows evidence of a mounting, two brick founds surviving on the concrete floor.
