Accessing Scotland's Past Project

An unnamed farmstead located about 400m south of Tomachlaggan schoolhouse is shown on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey 6-inch map of Banffshire (1874). At this time the steading comprised a roofed building, an unroofed structure and a single enclosure.

Nearly a century later the Ordnance Survey 1:10000 map of 1976 shows a roofed building within an enclosure, which suggests that the structures may still be in use.
