Field Visit (30 March 2019)

Two concrete stances (NH 80558 69088, NH 80560 69088) are situated in rough pasture 10.5m and 52m respectively N of the U1456 public road. The more southerly is grass-grown and is distinguished on the S and W by a sloping edge; but both measure 2m square and have raised, incised circular central areas about 0.02m high with no visible fixings. Both stances are depicted on an aerial photograph (CPE/Scot/UK/0293 SFFO 0045) flown on 17 September 1947.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK, KLG), 30 March 2019.
