Activities

Field Visit (30 March 2019)

This building emerges from a S-facing slope in dune grassland 1.5m N of the cook house (NH86NW 10.14). All that is visible is the SW corner of a concrete platform with a slot in its corner for a timber upright. The remains may represent a small building that is shown at this location on an aerial photograph (CPE/Scot/UK/0293 SFFO 0045) flown on 17 September 1947.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK, KLG), 30 March 2019.
