Activities

Field Visit (30 March 2019)

This grass-grown concrete building platform is situated on a terrace 12m N of what may be a weapon’s pit or a firing trench (NH86NW 10.4). It measures 2.75m from WSW to ENE by 2.55m transversely and 0.4m in height. Indentations at its outer edges indicate that it supported a small timber building. The platform was strewn with engine parts from an old Ford car on the date of visit.
