Publication Account (1999)
Newton House (now the Newton Hotel, was significantly altered during the Victorian era with the addition of two further storeys, canted bays and angle towers to an original two storey design. The building displays an extensive range of Scots baronial architecture and stands testament to a confidence and affluence now sadly missing in many of the buildings of Nairn.
