See also NH74NE 13.

A portion of a flat bronze ornament not unlike the shape of a penannula brooch was exhibited at the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) in January 1886. It was found on the farm of Mains of Croy, but not in the same place as the Croy Hoard (NH74NE 13) with which there is no known connection.

A Ross 1886.

There is no local knowledge of this object, either at Mains of Croy or Croy village.

Visited by OS (N K B) 14 August 1964.
