(NF 7290 7533) A cupmarked stone, now in the possession of Dr Mackenzie at Scolpaig House, was found near the cup-marked rock at Ard a'Bhorain (NF87NW 3).
It is about 18 by 14 inches and contains five cup-marks. It was at one time in the garden of Balelone (NF 7294 7391) before being taken to Scolpaig House.
J D Lyford-Pike 1941.
Dr Mackenzie left Scolpaig House some 20 years ago and the present occupants have no knowledge of the stone. It was not found among the many perforated stones at present in the garden of Scolpaig.
Visited by OS (J T T) 19 June 1965.
See NF87NW 3.

Location Notes: This stone was not relocated. As it comes from the same location as the stones at Aird a'Mhorain (Canmore 10335, ScRAP 1024) which all have natural cup-shaped features, it is highly likely that the cupmarks noted on this stone are also natural, and formed by the same processes.
