Nunton Farm was broken into crofts of varying sizes in 1925. Eight of the crofts were provided to men who had served in the First World War and an additional six plots were allocated to crofters that already had crofts but no arable land.

The crofts allocated to men who had served in the war were: No 1 to Roderick Wilson, No 2 to Duncan Maclean, No 3 to Donald Macphee, No 4 to Roderick Macdonald (Redtie), No 5 to Calum MacCormick, No 6 to Donald Johnstone, No 7 to Calum Macrury and No 8 to Donald MacAulay.

The crofts allocated to existing crofters were at Aird and Balivanich. 37 Aird was allocated to Mr Macleod, 31 Aird to Alexander MacMillan, 20 Aird to Donald MacDonald and 14 Aird to Neil Campbell. No 7 Balivanich was allocated to Donald John MacMillan and No 16 Balivanich to Feracher MacDonald.
