Some elements of the bomb store can still be seen in an area annotated An Tom on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.
The bomb store with the access tracks are visible on vertical air photographs taken in 1946 (CPE/Scot/UK191, 4041-4043, flown 10 October 1946), which show two areas of earth banked bays along with a system of access tracks and other small huts. The remains of the bomb store area and the former access track system are also visible on more recent aerial photography (All Scotland Survey 04 87, frame 156, flown 22 May 1987).
