A possible piilbox has been identified from RAF WW II vertical air photographs (NLA 57, 5087-5089, flown 21 February 2007) situated to the E of the B876 road and S of the technical and domestic area.
The pillbox has been removed in advance of the construction of 'Ashfield'.
