Archaeology Notes

ND12SW 23 1001 2464.

ND 1001 2464. A hut circle, set into a NE-facing slope with a back-scarp 1.0m high. It measures 7.5m NW-SE by 7.0m transversely within a wall, 0.6m high, spread to 2.5m and widening to 4.0m at the entrance, in the SE. Extending from the E tangent of the hut to the SE for a distance of 7.5m is a stony scarp defining the NE side of a platform or annexe outside the entrance. There is no evidence of associated cultivation.

Surveyed at 1:10,000.
