Note

An extensive system of head-dykes which runs roughly NE-SW from NB 240 438 to NB 224 428 is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 12). It adjoins two other systems of head-dykes to the SW (NB24SW 60) and to the NE (NB24NE 51).

Some lengths of head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
