NB24NW 7 233 461.

To the N of Loch Raoinavat on the NE slope of Cnoc Laoiran, are the remains of a stone circle reported by Richard Cox. Known to have been robbed of stones for lintels after World War II, only two monoliths remain erect and two prone monoliths. Up to fifteen groups of shattered monolith fragments, socket holes and other stone settings. Ground

Survey suggests a ring of 28.6m diameter with internal stone settings.

M MacRae, M Ponting and R Ponting 1983.

Investigation of associated rectangular stone setting 1.25m by 0.85m overall dimensions, revealed 4 slabs set on edge with peat filled interior.

Erosion of peat by rainwater exposed 12 pieces of quartz, 1 core, 7 struck flakes and 4 others - near the rectangular stone setting associated with the stone circle.
