A small airstrip, built in WWII is situated on near level ground on Sukka Moor. Only one runway was constructed and the airstrip is visible on a vertical air photograph taken during the war (RAF 1PRU WL/10, 2.92 and 2.102, flown 4 July 1942). The airstrip is still used today.
