Situated opposite the end of a track leading to Gorn Cottage, on the southern perimeter of the airfield, is a six-sided brick and concrete pillbox. The building has an overhanging roof and corrugated iron sheeting has been used for shuttering during construction.
The pillbox is very similar to a second one on the E perimeter (HY22SE 58.01).
