Archaeology Notes

HY20SE 2.02 centred 28783 00534

The military accommodation camp for Scad Head coast battery (HY20SE 2.00) is situated immediately above the cliff edge at the foot of the inclined tramway (HY20SE 2.01). Many concrete hut bases were noted along with one or two buildings whose gable end walls were still standing.
