(Location entered as NO 6919 0633 [N56 14.9167 W2 29.8333]). In the absence of any demonstrable wreck remains, the significance of this record remains unclear.
The cited location lies about 2.6nm SE of Fife Ness in a general depth of about 45m. UKHO chart no 190 (1978, revised 1996) charts the seabed locally as roughly flat; a variety of seabed types is charted across the area.
The tentative equation of this apparent wreck with the reported loss of the Othonna that is cited by Whittaker remains unverified.
