Note (13 March 2012)

(Location entered as NO 7668 0180 [N56 12.5 W2 22.55]). UKHO chart no. 190 (1978, revise 1996) charts this wreck [Wk] at a depth of 59m on an apparently-level seabed 5.8nm ENE of South Ness [name: NT 662 988], the SE end of the Isle of May. No seabed-type is charted locally.

In the apparent absence of detailed survey or sonar imagery, the equation of this wreck with the recorded loss of the Jessie (NO70SE 8006) that is cited by Whittaker remains unverified.
