Sbc Note
A tile works some 35m south of Rulesmains depicted on the 1st Edition OS map. Three tile kilns are marked as are three Drying Sheds and a tile works (the most easterly building). Tile works, primarily date to 19th century when there was a great demand for roofing tiles for new farm buildings and this example may date from this period.
