An overgrown quarry is situated in trees about 80m N of Blairmore steading (NN92SW 50). It is depicted as wooded on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire, sheet xcvi, 1867), but is noted as a 'Quarry' on the 2nd edition (sheet xcvi.NW, 1901).
