ND25SE 6 2544 5425.

(ND 2544 5425) Cist found (NAT)

OS 1:10,000 map, (1975.

A stone cist was found by Mr A Taylor (Bylbaster) whilst cutting a ditch some years ago. It measured about 5ft by 2ft and contained an urn which held calcined bones and black earth.

Name Book 1871.

No further information was obtained during field investigation. There is nothing to be seen on the ground.
