The military road heads N over the Garry Bridge (NN77SW 7.01) at NN 7264 7005 to Dalnacardoch.

J B Salmond 1938.

The road from Crieff has been investigated from NN 750 600 (NN76SE) to its junction with the Dunkeld to Inverness road at NN 725 703.

Modern road on line.

Visited by OS (JP) 23 June 1969.

The military road traverses the River Garry at NN 7264 7005 on the Garry Bridge (NN77SW 7.01). This is an original Wade bridge, in a good state of preservation and still in use. The river tends to be normally fairly dry, except in periods of spate, due to hydro-electric operations. Just E of Dalnacardoch, the road links with the Dunkeld to Inverness military road (NN77SW 13.00, MR 2).

W Taylor 1976.
