Oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1992, 1995) show the cropmarks of a round house and rig, 600m W of Kirkton Mill. This house, shown as a macula, has the appearance and similarity to the houses excavated at Easter Kinnear (NO42SW 59), with its half round, half rectangular shape. An area with rig runs NW-SE, covering almost the entire field.
