(Area: ND 1755 5439) Four Stone Cists found AD. 1851-9 (NAT)

OS 6" map, Caithness, 2nd ed., (1907)

Four stone cists have been found 'in close proximity' to a mound (broch: ND15SE 2), one in 1851 and the other three in 1859. The exact site was not known. They all contained a small quantity of blackish earth.

Name Book 1871.

No further information.
