Name: NM 6035 2069 Lord Lovat's Cave: a cave or chamber branching off Uamh nan Eun about halfway in on the left hand side. It is entered downwards through a narrow chasm, opening into a chamber 50' x 15' x 20' (15.25m x 4.57m x 6.1m). It has at one time an independent entrance from the front of the cliff, but it is now filled up with gravel and stones. During the 1745 rebelllion Lord Lovat hid here getting provisions from the proprietor of Lochbuy House.

Name Book 1878.

According to local information, the entrances to the cave are now blocked by rockfalls.

Visited by OS (DWR) 22 May 1972.
