The maltings is a 4-storey and attic, 3- by 12-bay rubble block, with a large rectangular kiln, and modern brick silos. The floors are supported by wrought-iron beams on cast-iron columns.
The brewery proper consists of a 3-storey rubble brewhouse and a 2-storey cooling house, with prominent louvred ventilators.
