(Location cited as NN 896 090). Brewery and maltings, Gleneagles, rebuilt c 1887 for R and D Sharp Ltd, [by] architects Russell and Spence, Glasgow.

The maltings is a 4-storey and attic, 3- by 12-bay rubble block, with a large rectangular kiln, and modern brick silos. The floors are supported by wrought-iron beams on cast-iron columns.

The brewery proper consists of a 3-storey rubble brewhouse and a 2-storey cooling house, with prominent louvred ventilators.
