Desk Based Assessment (19 November 2019)

This printworks (Eskdale & Liddlesdale Advertiser) was recorded photographically by RCAHMS due to its imminent closure in 1992. production was moved elsewhere c.1993.The equipment photographed was: Linotype machine, Intertype machine, Kleischograph machine, flat bed printing machine (two of these - Dawson Payne and Elloit, makers), melting pot (hot metal process), ingots of hot metal from pot, 'ARAB' treadle printer, cases of type, make-up stone table.
