The grass-grown footings of a building can be seen in the paddock to the NE of Inverarnie. The 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet xxxi) shows a roofed building at this location, with an enclosure on the E, in an area now covered by a coniferous plantation. (USN93 379)
