An iron axe-head, three copper alloy buckle fragments and four spur buckle fragments of the period c1550-1700 were found in a field adjoining Pitcur Castle (NO23NE 2), itself dated to the 16th century. Donated to Perth Museum and Art Gallery. Accession nos 1992.64.2-8,
