NO51NW 110.01 5123 1674 Trial Excavation

Early eighteenth-century building, forming the true end to the south side of North Street. Originally three houses, rebuilt as one in 1936.

Archaeological Evaluation (November 2021)

NO 51234 16716 An evaluation was undertaken of the proposed footprint of an extension to the St Andrews Preservation Trust museum in North Street in November 2021. Medieval archaeology was located in all of the trenches at a consistent depth of c0.70m below modern ground level being represented by cut features and a clay floor level associated with late medieval pottery and floor tile.
