An enclosure situated at NT 0598 9123, is formed by a low C-shaped grass bank with a short break of 3m on the W section, presumably an entrance. At NT 0598 9132 is an earthwork consisting of a low grass bank running from the top of a ridge down the slope, SSW to NNE, just to the NW of the above enclosure.

A two-compartment turf building is set on an escarpment that marks the N edge of Craigluscar Hill (NT 0600 9136). Rectangular on plan, it measures 11m from E to W by 4m transversely over turf banks about 0.2m in height.
