Activities

Field Visit (7 June 1991)

NG80NE 2 8547 0540.

Within the bay to the S of Inbhir Dhorrcail, there is an island which has been linked to the beach above high water mark by a boulder causeway (19m long, 2m wide and 0.4m high). The island, no more than a small rocky boss, bears no trace of habitation, but it may have been used as a pulpit or for celebrating mass.

Visited by RCAHMS (IMS) 7 June 1991.

RCAHMS 1991.
