Archaeology Notes

NG52SE 18 5835 2110.

Lying on a flat area of improved ground on the south facing slope of Beinn Dearg Bheag at 115m OD and about 100m up slope from the large boundary dyke is a group of ruinous 1 and 2 cell shielings. These shielings have been built into and amongst several large masses of stones which may be clearance or perhaps mutilated cairns.
