The ruins of Westfolds, which are shown roofed on both the first and second editions of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire 1874, xxv; 1902, xxv NW; Name Book, Aberdeenshire, No. 37, p. 32), still stand to gable height. Most of the buildings are set around a yard; the earlier edition of the map shows a horse-gang at the rear of the NW range. Visited by RCAHMS (SH) 27 March 1990.
