Activities

Field Visit (6 June 1990)

NJ34SW 39.02 344 406.

A group of at least fifteen small cairns extends across the slope to the S and W of the hut-circle (NJ34SW 39.1). The cairns range from 2m to 4m in diameter. To the SW (NJ 342 405) a further three stony mounds are visible, possibly indicating the existence of a second group of cairns in the area now occupied by the forestry plantation. Other mounds on the hillside are derived from wind-thrown trees.

Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 6 June 1990.
