Tower (Site), Fiddleton Bankend: There are no visible remains of the tower, depicted as that of 'Hobbie of Glevore' on a map of 1590 and as 'Glenvorann' in Blaeu's Atlas of 1654. It may have stood close to Fiddleton Bankend Cottage (NY39NE 21) where 'a few years' before 1912 'a piece of very substantial masonry' was found 'whilst digging in the stack-yard a little to the west'.

J Blaeu 1654; J and R Hyslop 1912; RCAHMS 1981.

Listed as tower.

RCAHMS 1997.
