NY18SW 23 1364 8143.

(NY 136 814) The remains of Lockerbie Tower, home of a branch of the Johnstone family in the 16th century, adjoins the police station on the east, and was at one time used as cells.

The tower lies to the south of the present Police Station, at NY 1364 8143.

Visited by OS (RD) 23 May 1966

A new Police Station has been built on the site of the tower.

Visited by OS Reviser (WHB) 6 March 1968.
