(Location cited as NX 517 533). Kirkdale Sawmill, mid to late 19th century. A single-storey building with a wooden addition. The sawbench has been removed, but the 8-spoke iron overshot wheel, 3ft 9 1/2in wide by 13ft diameter (1.15 by 3.96m) has been repaired and is to be used to drive the sawbench, when replaced. Drive is from a gear ring.
