OS 6" map (1957)

White Cairn measures 104' E-W by N-S and is 8' high. It has been considerably quarried for stones from the top, but shows no signs of having been excavated.

RCAHMS 1912, visited 1911

NX 3528 5819. A much-robbed grass-covered cairn measuring 36.0m in diameter and 2.2m in maximum height. The name White Cairn was confirmed.

Surveyed at 1:2500.
